From 4 to 9 June, the German Film Festival, in which the Instituto Goethe is collaborating, returns to Madrid for the 21st time at the Palacio de la Prensa (Plaza del Callao, 4). And it opens with the film that swept the Lola Awards: Gundermann. In addition, Andreas Dresen will be present to celebrate it.
This cycle reviews the difficulties of cinematographic and artistic creation in a comic and bittersweet way. What the fourth films have in common is that when faced with disagreements it is good to react with (a certain) sense of humour and creativity. She will also welcome director Annekatrin Hendel, who will take time for a colloquium following the performance of her new film, Beauty and Evanescence, on Wednesday, June 5 at 7pm.
