The Concert Society of La Filarmónica presents next Monday, June 17, at 7.30 p.m., in the Symphonic Hall of the National Auditorium of Music at the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, which will perform Mendelssohn’s Concerto for Violin, in E minor, op. 64 and Brahms’ Symphony No. 1, in C minor, op. 68.
The Vienna Symphony, with a great trajectory in The Philharmonic, presents on this occasion a totally romantic programme, with the Greek virtuoso violinist Leonidas Kavakos, who debuts in the Season, conducting the Viennese orchestra, as well as performing one of the most beautiful concerts in the violin repertoire, that of Mendelssohn.
