The Diplomat in Spain held yesterday a new edition of its Talks in the Meliá Madrid Serrano Hotel, this time with Vox’s secretary of International Relations, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros.
The gathering was organized by The Diplomat to meet the interest shown by a good number of our subscribers to know, first hand, the point of view of a political party whose results can be key in the formation of the Government in Spain after the elections of next April 28th.
The interest shown by members of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Spain, after the emergence of Vox in the Spanish political scene and especially after being decisive to form Andalusian Government, was highlighted by the assistance to the act of about thirty ambassadors and other diplomats, representatives of so many countries.
Espinosa de los Monteros, one of the main leaders of the formation headed by Santiago Abascal and who ranks third in the candidacy for the Congress in Madrid, answered -in Spanish and English- to the questions of diplomats about different aspects of Vox’s electoral offer for the upcoming elections. Likewise, various issues of the national and international scene were also addressed.
