Casa América presents this afternoon, at 6.30 pm in its Miguel de Cervantes room, the book Maybe Managua, by author Catalina Murillo.
The work delves into the story of Juan in Costa Rica, 1992 a Spaniard who left Spain fleeing the crisis to that country. A scammer sells him a trained exotic bird: Juan can sell it as many times as they are and the bird will return to him. As an irony of fate, the trick works! This “road novel” is based on the encounters that Juan is having. The last, with a Costa Rican who has gone to die in Nicaragua, will be final. Ana Helena Chacón, ambassador of Costa Rica; Miguel Albero Suárez, director of Cultural and Scientific Relations of the AECID; Lourdes Ortiz, writer, and Catalina Murillo, the author.
