Rosalía Pareja (piano) and Alejandro Gómez (cello) will be the protagonists of the concert offered next April 4th at 7:00 p.m. at the International Institute (calle Miguel Ángel, 8) for the benefit of the Fulbright Association, one of the most powerful public diplomacy instruments. Its participants are chosen with criteria of transparency based on their academic and professional merits and potential leadership.
In the first part will be played the Sonata for cello and piano Op. 5 No. 2 by Ludwig van Beethoven, and the Introduction, theme and variations, Op. 82 No. 2 by Schubert. In the second part, the Sonata for cello and piano, Op. 38 by Johannes Brahms, a work that combines melodies full of lyricism, reflecting the depth of the composer’s spirit.
