Goethe Institute (calle Zurbarán, 21) presents tomorrow, January 15, a new cinema cycle, Night Trails. The night is the perfect scenario for endless situations, lifestyles and unpredictable drifts. This cycle pays homage to all those creatures of the night.
The opening film will be Paths in the Night (see photo above), directed by Andreas Kleinert in 1999, at 7:30 pm. A landscape of ruins, crumbling industrial sites, the vestiges of the former German Democratic Republic. Images that reflect the mood of the population. Walter is unemployed, the closure of the factory where he worked has cost him his job in the management. The only thing he keeps about this activity is his authoritative tone of voice and his need to be considered as the boss.
