After recalling the links, even historical, between Taiwan and Spain, Simon Ko encouraged Spanish businessmen to continue devoting special attention to Taiwan to diversify and increase their exports.
The ambassador announced, finally, his imminent return to Taiwan once his diplomatic mission in Spain is finished.
For his part, the president of the Independent Association of Parliamentarians and Former Parlamentarians Friends of Taiwan, Francisco Vañó, highlighted the work of Simón Ko during his years in Spain and reiterated the support that this Association is always willing to provide to Taiwan and to the maintenance of the current status quo in the Strait.
