Dastis cancels a conference in Barcelona after Puigdemont’s arrest

The Foreign Minister, Alfonso Dastis, cancelled his participation in an event organized by Barcelona Tribuna Abierta, in which he planned to give a conference yesterday. The event, which was going to take place at the Sofía Barcelona Hotel, was cancelled, after the news about the arrest of the former president of the Government of Catalonia Carles Puigdemont in Germany.

 

Barcelona Tribuna Abierta published a message in Twitter yesterday, informing of the cancellation of the event, in which Dastis was going to be introduced by the lawyer and father of the Constitution, Miguel Roca, and in which he will address the topic: “Challenges of the present and challenges of the future”.
