The President of the Elcano Royal Institute, Emilio Lamo de Espinosa, and the director of the Tres Culturas Foundation of the Mediterranean, José Manuel Cervera Gragera, signed a collaboration agreement in Seville yesterday to strengthen the institutional and academic relations between both entities.
Among the activities to be carried out within the framework of this agreement stands out Elcano’s participation in WOCMES Seville 2018 (World Congress for Middle Eastern Studies), organized by Tres Culturas from 16 to 22 July 2018, and which will include the incorporation of Haizam Amirah Fernández, senior analyst of the Mediterranean and the Arab World of the Elcano Royal Institute, to the Executive Scientific Committee of this event, which is the biggest international conference on the Middle East and the north of Africa.
