Today, 2 June, Spanish cinemas premiere the film Marie Curie, directed by Marie Noëlle and starring Karolina Gruszka.
Marie Curie is one of the most fascinating and remarkable figures of history. She was the first woman to become a professor at the University of Paris and the first one to win the Nobel Prize (1903). Eight years later, she won her second Nobel Prize turning into the first person of history to be awarded twice. The film goes over her life from the death of Pierre Curie in a tragic accident and her fight for science and to survive in a world ruled by men.
