It is not common to see an ambassador leave their diplomatic work temporarily to get in touch with readers. Tomorrow, the Nicaraguan Ambassador to Spain, Carlos Midence, will change the diplomatic office for the literary stall at the Book Fair of Madrid for a few hours.
Midence, who adds to his diplomatic facet those of writer, historian and literary critic, among others, will sign, from 17:30 to 21:30 hrs, copies of his book ‘Rubén Darío y las nuevas teorías’ (Rubén Darío and the new theories) at the stall 281 of the Sial Pigmalión Group, whose International Award 2017 he received recently, as previously revealed by The Diplomat.
