Funny comedy at Instituto Francés of Madrid: ‘Good luck Algeria’

 

Within the framework of Fête du Cinéma, the French Institute of Madrid is screening, this afternoon at 22:00 hrs, the film Good luck Algeria, directed in 2015 by Farid Bentoumi.

 

Sam and Stéphane, two childhood friends, make successful premium skis until their business is threatened by the competence of other big brands. To save it, they make a crazy bet: classifying Sam for the winter Olympic Games in the skiing category representing Algeria, his father’s country. Beyond sports, these challenges will push Sam to connect with his roots again.
