Tomorrow, the Faculty of Law of the University of Salamanca will host a seminar organized by this institution and by the Spain-US Council Foundation to analyse political, legal and trade problems aroused at the end of the 18th century between Spain and the newborn North American State around the navigation of the Mississippi River.
The academic coordination of the seminar Encounter and conflict between Spain and the United States in the Mississippi, which will be held between 9:30 and 17:30 hrs, is directed by the ambassador Eduardo Garrigues, member of the Executive Committee of the Spain-US Council Foundation, an expert in the matter.
