The groups of the opposition PSOE, Unidos Podemos, ERC, Compromís, PDeCAT and EH Bildu committed, yesterday during a meeting held with Oxfam Intermón, to increase up to 150 million euros the items for humanitarian assistance in the National Budget of 2018.
According to the NGO, between 2009 and 2015, Spain has reduced the items allocated to humanitarian assistance by 84.5 per cent, whereas in the last budgets the number proposed by the Government is of 16 million, a number they consider to be “ridiculous”.
