Author: Rubén Juste
This book sheds light on the multiple comings and goings that help a senior official of the State to become part of a big company, or a businessman to become a civil servant. These trips, unexplored until now, are a symbol of Spain’s recent history, whose result is a progressively defeated State. However, since the beginning of the crisis in 2008, only a company of the IBEX35 has been liquidated: Martinsa-Fadesa. Therefore, the stock market index remains impeccable, whereas the State has undergone a slimming process, a reduction of economic competences and the limitation of the expenditure.
“IBEX 35”, according to the author, “is not a group of independent companies, but of companies that interrelate with common interests, exchanging members of their managing boards”.
