The Foreign Minister, Alfonso Dastis, started, yesterday in Lima, his first tour of Latin America, which will also take him to Peru and Mexico, two countries that are part of the Alliance of the Pacific, in which Spain is an observer.
In Peru, where he will stay until 15 March, Dastis will meet the Foreign Minister, Ricardo Luna, and he will visit a project of the Spanish cooperation in the locality of Picotayoc, in the area of Cuzco. In Mexico, on 16 and 17 March, he will meet his Mexican colleague, Luis Videgaray, and the Minister of Economy, Ildefonso Guajardo, to whom he will transmit Spain’s support facing the open contentious with the North American Administration of Donald Trump.
