On Sunday 2 April, at 19:30 hrs, Centro Checo, along with the Embassy of the Czech Republic, will pay tribute at the National Film Archive (3 Santa Isabel Street) to the film maker Jiří Menzel, on the 50th anniversary of his Oscar for the film Closely Watched Trains in 1967.
The event, which inaugurates a series organized with the National Film Archive, will be attended by the director. This retrospective will be present throughout the months of April and May. The complete programme can be consulted on the Film Archive’s website.
