US investment fund Värde Partners plans to invest a total of 2,000 million euros until 2011 to build “houses à la carte” in Spain, which means houses requested by potential buyers, at a pace of 2,000 per year, according to Europa Press.
Through the firm ‘Dos Puntos’, of which it has more than 50 per cent, Värde Partner wants to make the most of the recovery of the Spanish economy and the real estate sector to build houses in the portfolio of 800,000 square metres of land (equivalent to 7,000 flats) inherited through the acquisition of the Grupo San José Inmobiliaria, the former Parquesol.
