UN and Peace and Cooperation agree on school awards during the Space Week

The United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) and the Peace and Cooperation Foundation agreed, on 20 January, during a meeting in Vienna, to organize a campaign to increase school sensitivity, which will start in October, on the occasion of the “Space World Week”. Simonetta di Pippo, director general of UNOOSA, and Joaquín Antuña, president and founder of Peace and Cooperation, committed to prepare a memorandum of agreement.

 

Afterwards, the president of the Spanish foundation met the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Spain before the UN Office, Gonzalo de Salazar Serantes, and the Deputy Permanent Representative, María Vicandi, who showed their support to this initiative.
