The Diplomat. 28/01/2016

There was a show-stopping concert of transverse flute and piano by Sefita Kutluer and Nailya Ahmedova, respectively, in the incomparable setting of the Salón de Reyes in Madrid Casino. The concert was organised by the Madrid Casino, led by its Director Javier Torrico, the Paz y Cooperación NGO, headed by its President, Joaquín Antuña, and the Turkish Embassy.

With pieces by Bach, Doppler, Ravel and Bizet, Sefita Kutluer -“the magic flute” as the New York Times labelled her- thrilled all those present, which included numerous Members of the Casino and the diplomatic representatives of India, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Qatar, Jordan, Turkey and Canada.

Sefita Kluer, named as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in 2012 was accompanied on the piano by Nailya Ahmedova, teacher and pianist at the Ankara State Opera Theatre and winner of several prizes in international piano competitions.
