The German singer and actress Ute Lemper will be presenting her latest work, Best of Ute Lemper on 30 January at 20.30 hrs. in the framework of INVERFEST, organised by the Teatro Circo Price in Madrid. In this new recording the singer makes a journey through her entire repertoire, leaving room for improvisation and the special touches of a virtuoso singer. All marked by jazz and ethnic influences.
The journey begins in Berlin, arising from the influence of Brecht, Weill and Berlin cabaret on the singer. It continues with the poetry of the French song of Brell, Piaf, Ferre. And from there, it moves on to Argentina with the revolutionary tangos of Piazzolla.
