Yesterday, Spain roundly condemned the terrorist attack perpetrated by the terrorist group Al-Shabaab at a hotel of the beach of Lido in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, which claimed the lives of at least 25 people. Through a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Madrid sent its “profound condolences” to the families of the victims, as well as its hope for those injured to recover soon.
Besides, Spain reiterated its support to the work carried out by the Somali authorities and the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) in their fight against terrorism and, in particular, against that active group.
