The 52nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Spain was the focus at the reception offered on Thursday by Sudan’s Ambassador, Mohamed Abdalla Ahmed (in the photo, with the secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Ignacio Ybáñez, when the commemorative cake was being cut), to celebrate the National Day of this African country.
As well as Ignacio Ybáñez, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was also present director general for Africa, Manuel Gómez-Acebo.
Also attending the event were the ambassadors of Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and North Korea. The embassies of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Irak, Yemen, Syria, Arab Emirates and Russia were also represented.
