The headquarters of the Institut Français in Zaragoza is showing the French film of the year, Mustang, nominated for the Goya Prizes and possibly the Oscars, tomorrow 12 January. It will be shown in the Centro Joaquín Roncal, calle San Braulio, 5, in the Aragonese capital.
It is the beginning of summer. In a remote village in Turkey, five lively girls, led by the youngest, the rebel Lale, aged thirteen, are growing up in a family obsessed with tradition and particularly with the virtue of its girls. Their fight for freedom becomes a magnificent and poignant contrast between the past and the present in the Turkey of today.
