Author: Manuel Montobbio.

Búnkeres is a word-symbol, a poem, a tale and an essay. A river that carries us along its currents on a voyage; of the bunkers outside to those that inhabit us within, of their construction and deconstruction; of the total development of total power under the Enver Hoxha regime, to its collapse and fall and to oblivion, the flight, destruction, deconstruction and reconstruction,  transition/foundation of a new regime, a new society, a new world perhaps, from the questions of then and now to those of always that always make us human beings, above and below the circumstances of the me and the us on the voyage of life. A poem  -that forms part of the poetic world that the writer reflects in Guía poética de Albania– that paints the totalitarian power and its mentality and the operation and the epic of contemporary Albania; and a dialogue with this, a reflection, an essay on Albania and on power, freedom and the human condition, from reason and from the heart, in an original and literary approach.
