The number of unemployed people registered at the Offices of the Employment Public Services fell by 55,790 people in December, being the total number of unemployed people of 4,093,508, which means that this is the fourth consecutive month of December that ends with a drop in unemployment, according to the data published yesterday by the Ministry of Employment.
Besides, unemployment has fallen by 354,203 people in the entire year, being this the biggest annual fall of the historical series. For its part, the number of members of the Social Security increased by 85,314 people (+0.50%) in October, which increases the total number to 17.308 million. This makes it, also, the biggest increase of the historical series.
