The number of unemployed people registered in the Offices of Public Services of employment was reduced by 117,985 people, which is the greatest fall in May of all the historical series. In total, the number of unemployed people is 4.2 million, according to data published yesterday by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
For its part, the Social Security gained 213,015 members last month, compared to the previous one (+1.25%), the highest monthly advance registered since 2005, when the legalisation of immigrants was carried out in the country.
