The president of Círculo de Empresarios asks Podemos to be sensible

June 5, 2015
in In brief

The Diplomat. Madrid

The president of Círculo de Empresarios, Javier Vega de Seoane, expressed yesterday his confidence in Podemos’s capacity to be sensible. When asked in Oviedo about the economic proposals of the party led by Pablo Iglesias, he indicated that he hopes that there are no “insensible people that want to risk everything we have achieved with so much effort”.

Vega de Seoane remembered that it has been hard “to achieve the welfare state and to have the position we have in the EU”, and, referring to the emerging parties, he said that “they are new people, but as they get closer to the power, they will think things over and will adopt more responsible positions”.
