On the occasion of the commemoration of the birth of the Russian poet, playwright and novelist Aleksandr Serguéyevich Pushkin (6 June 1799, Moscow), the Russian Centre of Science and Culture of Madrid offers these days the exhibition Pushkin and Spain, which, in collaboration with the State Museum “Alexandr Pushkin”, shows the writer’s relationship with our country.
Besides, tomorrow, 5 June, at 11:00 hrs, the cultural and educational annual celebration dedicated to the same anniversary will take place at the feed of Pushkin’s statue in the Park Fuente del Berro of Madrid. This event will have the participation of artists dressed in costumes and reciting verses in Russian and Spanish. They will later put flowers next to the statue of the Russian poet.
