‘Rostros andinos’, photographic exhibition at Casa de América

Tomorrow, Casa de América inaugurates the project Rostros Andinos. Un viaje interior (Andean faces. An inner journey), by Gabriel Barceló, at its gallery Diego Rivera. This is a photographic project with a great expository format that the author has developed throughout three years working in the Bolivian high plateau. Gabriel Barceló goes over the Aymara, Quechuan and Uros (one of the oldest in America) cultures with his photographs of face portraits and objectives of those civilizations.

The exhibition, which will be open until 31 July, is divided into 25 portrait photographs and 10 photographs of objects of these three cultures, as well as a total of five videos with recordings of some of the trips to the high plateau where the visitor can see the making of the photographic process. There are also recordings of indigenous dances and celebrations. Free entry, limited capacity.
