On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Latin American Coordinator of Cinema and Communication of the Indigenous Populations (CLACPI in Spanish), Casa de América hosts, on 8 and 9 June, the 9th Exhibition of Indigenous Cinema –The audiovisual universe of indigenous populations, in two film and debate sessions. The event will have the presence of film makers and communicators connected to this type of cinema such as Marta Rodríguez, a recognized Colombian pioneering film maker, or Eliana Champutiz and Jeannette Paillán, two outstanding indigenous communicators, connected to CLACPI.
The exhibition will be open on 10 and 11 June in other halls of the capital, related to social organizations and communication collectives of Madrid. There will also be screenings in Andalusia (Córdoba and Málaga) during the week from 15 to 19 June.
