The Instituto Cultural Rumano organises today, at 19:30 hrs., a conference dedicated to Rumanian writer, Lucian Blaga to commemorate 120 years since his birth. Francisco Peña Martin, honorary Professor at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, and Dr. Javier Helgueta, from that same University, will present a comparative reading between the work of Lucian Blaga and that of other Spanish language poets.
The event will also present a bilingul edition of Lucian Blaga’s poetry, În marea trecere / En el gran paso, and the documentary Mi padre, Lucian Blaga (My father, Lucian Blaga) will also be shown. The film, which premiers this year, looks at the poets favourite places, through the eyes of his daughter, Dorli Blaga, and of the people who knew him.
