This afternoon at 19:00 hrs, Casa de América presents the conference Abraham Lincoln and the War to Vindicate Democracy, under the responsibility of Michael Burlingame, historian and biographer of Abraham Lincoln. The event will be presented and moderated by the diplomat Álvaro Rodríguez.
After the presentation, there will be a dramatized reading of the work Antes que dejarla perecer. El secuestro de Lincoln y el destino de Estados Unidos (Rather than letting it perish. Lincoln’s kidnapping and the US destiny), by Álvaro Rodríguez. Actors Guillermo Dorda, Juan Antonio Molina and David Albaladejo will be in charge of the reading. Free entry, limited capacity.
