The prize for this third competition dedicated to the personalities of Rumanian culture ‘Story of a Rumanian Personality, organised by the Instituto Cultural Rumano, Madrid, will be a scholarship for the Rumanian language, culture and civilisation courses that in the city of Braşov, in Transylvania, which will take place from 1 to 26 June this year.
To participate in the competition one must write an essay that has, at the centre of it, a personality of Rumanian culture (real, not fictional), in Spanish, with a maximum extension of 10,000 characters, including spaces. Any native Spanish speaker with an interest in Rumanian culture, who is over the age of 18 can take part. The deadline for the submission of essays is on 22 May, 2015. The jury will be made up of University professors, translators and a representative from the Instituto Cultural Rumano, without a vote.
