Inspired by her travels around the world and her surroundings, painter María José Castaño invites, in her exhibition La leve luz de los caminos (The slight light of the paths), to sail the oceans of landscapist art and colour through the stories that, without words, she tells us through her dexterity with a paintbrush.
What better place for them to be exhibited than through the doors of the Centro Cultural China (Chinese Cultural Centre), Madrid, until 25 April, where the themes that reflect her journey through China reveal brush strokes that hide within them reminiscences of that millenary culture. Notes of colour are ordered and scattered by the artist’s brush, which she uses to renew her passion for nature and to reflect the unforgettable events of her trip to China.
