Thousands of people take part in pro-life march in Madrid

The Diplomat. Madrid

Thousands of people marched in Madrid yesterday, brought together by the Every Life Matters platform, made up of 40 anti-abortion associations, under the motto “For life, women and motherhood”. The president of the Foro de la Familia, Benigno Blanco, encouraged PP parlamentarians to “not support” the initiative presented by the Grupo Parlamentario Popular in Congress, which promotes a reform of the current legislation on abortion “if it does not include reasonable measures to protect life”. Among those marching was PP candidate for the Madrid Town Hall, Esperanza Aguirre.
