The European Commission (EC) announced yesterday the creation of a join enterprise between the Spanish group, ACS Servicios, Comunicaciones y Energía and Global Infrastructure Management, from the US. The new company will develop, build and operate renewable energy projects, according to information issues by the Commission. ACS currently offers engineering services in certain sectors, such as energy, mining, water treatment and other energy infrastructures, whereas Infrastructure Management manages investment funds in some of these areas.
