Nuño Bordallo will be the new “number two” of Protocol in Foreign Affairs

The diplomat Nuño Bordallo will soon be appointed new Deputy Director General for Official Visits and Travels, Ceremonial and Orders, which means, the “number two” of the Protocol Services of the Ministry of Foreign affairs, according to information provided to The Diplomat by reliable sources. He will replace Juan Sunyé, recently appointed Head of Protocol.

 

Nuño Bordallo is 39 years old and has been previously assigned to the State Office for International Affairs of Terrorism, Non-Proliferation and Disarmament, as well as to the Spanish Embassies in Iran and Denmark. He was currently holding the second headship at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
