Yesterday, the regional minister of Education of Castile and Leon, Juan José Mateos, and the cultural attaché of the United States’ Embassy in Spain, Amy Bliss, signed an agreement to implement the programme You®Company in non-university teaching centres of this region. “This innovative initiative of the North American Embassy, of which this autonomous community will be pioneer, tries to promote entrepreneurship among students of Secondary Education”, the United States’ Embassy informed in a statement.
More than 2,000 students from 41 centres in Castile and Leon will be able to benefit from the programme You®Company throughout the academic year 2014-2015, after the agreement signed this morning between the United States’ Embassy and the Regional Ministry of Education. This agreement will allow the centres of the Community to use the supporting didactic material created by the Embassy and participate in the entrepreneurship workshops organized for this project.
