The Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) has announced in a press communiqué that, in doing so “they seek to integrate fully into the worldwide aviation network and contribute to reaching this organization’s objective of achieving a safe air space without fissures”.
Last year, Taiwan was present, for the first time and with special guest status, using the denomination “Chinese Taipei”, to the ICAO’s General Assembly, which was held in Montreal (Canada).
