“No Lugares” by Anka Moldovan at the Cultural Romanian Institute

November 7, 2014
in Culture & Art

The Cultural Romanian Institute of Madrid (3 Lealtad Square, right mezzanine) organizes, until next Friday 28 November, the painting exhibition No Lugares (No places) by Anka Moldovan. Those who know her work talk about “visceral impulse”, “stories and tales” told in every canvas, “creation of environments” with different atmospheres, among fog, asphalt and striking characters who come, go, stop and come together under a figurative abstraction.

“In No Lugares there is no identity, no dialogue, no relation. One barely notices the silent cross of looks between people that will never meet again”. (Anka Moldovan)

Anka Moldovan won the second edition of the competition organized by Casa de América, “Arte en la Red. De virtual a exposición física”. The exhibition of the 10 finalists can be visited from 2 to 8 November at Casa de America, room Diego Rivera.
