Del Canal Theatres put music to the First World War

Del Canal Theatres of the Community of Madrid present Memoria musical de una época de Guerra (Musical memory of a War time), a 12-hour marathon of music, dance, circus, magic, theatre, cinema, conferences, and gastronomy that will take place tomorrow, Sunday 9 November, from 11:00 to 23:00 hrs. Admission will be free for all the activities.

 

The Austrian Embassy collaborates with a didactic exhibition about the cultural, social and political trends in Austria before the outbreak of the First World War and a conference monitored by Mr Kutzenberger, Parecidos y diferencias entre el mundo de 1914 y el de hoy (Similarities and differences between 1914 and today’s world). Besides, the event will have the participation of two Viennese groups: the trio TRIS of clarinet, cello and piano, and a duet of violin and piano made up of Elena Denisova and Alexei Kornienko.
