The Summer Festival of the Theatre Auditorium of San Lorenzo de El Escorial of the Community of Madrid bets on the new talents of the Orchestra Verum with a new programme focusing on two great masters: Mozart and Beethoven. The concert will take place today Saturday 5 July at 8:00 p.m. with tickets from 7 euros.
The concert starts with the overture of the opera by Mozart The marriage of Figaro and the Flute concerto no. 1 in G major by the same composer, whose performance will be responsibility of the famous flute player Álvaro Octavio as soloist. To top it off, those attending will be able to enjoy the Symphony no. 7 by Beethoven, one of the fundamental pieces by the German composer.
The Symphony Orchestra Verum was created in 2007 and Miguel Romea has been its artistic director since 2010. With a clear bet on its land’s talent, the orchestra has showed, since its creation, a great commitment to the musicians trained there, with the objective of offering a musical alternative of quality for the region. It has relevant performers who frequently collaborate with some of the most important European groups.
