Moroccan writer and journalist Mohamed Chacor is acknowledged for his career this afternoon in the Arab House.
Chakor, whose literary creativity in Arab and Spanish languages stands out, will see his work acknowledged in an event presented by Eduardo López Busquets, general director of the Arab House and by Ángeles Ramírez Gutiérrez, president of Xenia, Socio-Cultural Association for the Cooperation to Development.
The event will also have the participation of Víctor Morales Lezcano, historian and professor emeritus of the National Distance Education University (UNED in its Spanish acronym), with the talk Chakor, precursor del diálogo ribereño; Sergio Barce, writer, who will talk about Chakor, el poeta comprometido; Nazmi Yousef, president of the Association of Arab Writers and Journalists in Spain that will analyze the figure of Chakor, el periodista; and Mohammed Dahiri, professor of Arab and Islamic Studies of the University of Cadiz and president of the Association Addiffatayn-Las Dos Orillas, who will present Chakor, el mediador interreligioso.
The event will take place this afternoon at 7:00 pm. in the Ambassadors Room of the Arab House (62 Alcalá Street). Admission will be free while seats are available.
