Art Night in the Chinese Cultural Centre

The Chinese Cultural Centre in Madrid (73 General Pardiñas Street) celebrates this afternoon, at 8:30 p.m., a mixed show of traditional Chinese music, song and dance. In this Night of Art, a stunning cast of famous Chinese stars that belong to the world of music and dance will perform famous works of traditional Chinese music with classic instruments such as the jinghu, they will offer us spectacular dancing choreographies and they will even bring us closer to Beijing’s Opera.

Admission will be free, but attendance must be previously confirmed by phone (917 820 000) or by e-mail (eventos@ccchinamadrid.org).
Programme: Beijing’s traditional opera : “La casamentera”. Cast: Guang Po, Zhang Shunxiang; Woman’s dancing solo: “Oda del loto”. Performer: Cai Mengna; Man’s singing solo: “Loco por ti”, “Permite que consuele tu corazón”, “Final de otoño”. Performer: Liao Zhong; Man’s dancing solo: “El Ganso-Cisne”. Performer: Li Xing; Woman’s singing solo “Áquel océano” , “Alta canción” ,”You raise me up”. Performer: Zhang Xin; Jinghu’s solo: “La alegría de la celebración”, ”En lo profundo de la noche”. Performer: Zhang Shunxiang; Dancing couple “La vid que enreda el árbol”. Performer: Cai Mengna, Li Xing; Beijing’s traditional opera: “Errores predestinados” (huatian cuo, fragmento), “Farolillo rojo”. Performer: Guang Po, and Woman’s singing solo “Variaciones de Mayila”, “Ballet de primavera”, “Mi amor espera por ti”. Performer: Song Lu.
