On 4 June 1989 Polish people exercised the free vote after 40 years of a dictatorial and totalitarian regime. On the occasion of the celebration of this event, the Embassy of Poland celebrated the National Holiday of its country 25 years later. For such an event, the Polish artist Jerzy Janiszewski, who designed the logo of the movement Solidarity (Solidarność), wrote a work full of colour and movement, “The wind of freedom”, which delighted and amazed all those attending the celebration. There were approximately a thousand guests who enjoyed the good and tasteful Polish gastronomy and the kindness of its people.
