For the tenth year in a row, the Círculo de Bellas Artes will open its doors to those musicians that live outside the industry, street musicians that surprise us with a show round any corner, in the middle of a busy underground walkway or in the centre of a pedestrian street. Artists with no lights or stage that are looking for something more than our coins; they demand our attention.
Today, from 20:30 hrs., the Círculo will play host to an invasion of street musicians that accompany us daily, heard in our city streets, and they will gift us their eclectic repertoire from the stages erected in the building’s key spaces: Dance Hall, Colonnade Hall and the Rooftop. To commemorate the tenth edition, this year there will also be an outdoor stage, Alcalá 42, on the corner with Marqués de Casa Riera.
The musical groups that make up the programme have, once again, been selected off the street, in an attempt to offer the greatest possible artistic and ethnic variety. Free entry, limited capacity.
The full programme can be found on the Círculo’s website.
