The film maker, painter and writer, Ramón Margareto shows his paintings in the Galería del Ateneo of Madrid (21 Prado Street) until 30 May; and between 2 and 30 June they will be exhibited in the Foundation Progress and Culture of Madrid (67 Alcántara Street).
Ramón Margareto describes himself like this: “I am a film maker, a painter and a writer. If classic artists such as Juan de Juni or Gregorio Fernández, great Castilian painters of religious images, do not mind me saying this, I also consider myself a man from the Renaissance, interested in all beaux arts, including cinematography”. In the year 2011, Margareto was awarded the Goya prize to the best Short Documentary.
