May 15, 2014
in The bag

The delicate health condition of the King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, aged 90 years old, has stopped him from meeting the King Juan Carlos during the visit that the Spanish monarch will make to the biggest economy of the Gulf between 17 and 19 May, according to information provided by Spanish diplomatic sources. The Monarch will meet the Crown Prince, Salman Al Saud, with whom he will maintain a formal interview on Sunday 18 followed by lunch at the Royal Palace of Jeddah. The busy agenda of the King Juan Carlos in the Arab country includes an audience with members from the General Secretary’s Office of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and several business meetings. One of them will be with the co-chairman of the Spanish-Saudi Council of Commerce Chambers. The King will also be informed about the operation of the works AVE Medina-La Meca where a Spanish business consortium is participating.
