<h6><strong>The Diplomat</strong></h6> <strong>Nives Malenica</strong> is the new <strong>ambassador of Croatia to Spain</strong> to replace Ambassador <strong>Svjetlan Berkovic</strong>, who finished his term as head of the Balkan Mission last October. Malenica arrives from <strong>Santiago de Chile</strong>, from where she has also worked as a non-resident ambassador to <strong>Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru</strong>. From Madrid, she will act as a concurrent ambassador to Andorra and Cuba. The ambassador will present her <strong>Letters of Credence to King Felipe VI</strong> tomorrow, along with seven other new Heads of Mission. The Croatian ambassador is in possession, among other decorations of the <strong>Order of Bernardo O'Higgins</strong>, the most important recognition granted by the Chilean state to foreign citizens.
